About Us
Harry and his team take great pride in their design philosophy by blending the classic principles of golf course design with today’s advancements in earthworks, contouring, drainage technology and the concept that form must follow function. The foundation of Harry’s design philosophy stems from an appreciation for the “essentials.”
Aesthetics – one of the critical aspects of quality design is visual, but “form must follow function” and many of today’s golf course designs are heavy on visual appeal and light on functionality.
Approach – Quality design must integrate a logical routing into the sites natural setting not only by utilizing existing features but also by mimicking the landforms and natural elements around it.
Strategy and Playability – Our golf course designs strive to test the abilities of all skill levels yet harmonize a playability that brings a golfer to the conclusion that he or she wants to come back and play.
Construction Functionality – A comprehensive set of construction drawings and documents are key to the success of the design, and are critical to permits/approvals, budgeting, scheduling and quality control. However, we feel that this approach must be carried out in the field, and it requires Harry to be onsite daily during the construction phase.

Our team has the combined experience of over 100 successfully completed projects worldwide and we take great pride in limiting our workload to not more than one project under construction at any given time. - Complete sets of working drawings, technical specifications and construction bid documents.
- Comprehensive project scheduling and project cost estimates.
- Experienced construction supervision and feature shaping services, ensuring that all greens, tees, bunkers and feature contouring is an extension of the design vision, working drawings and approved budget.
- We limit our workload, so Harry Bowers is on-site every day during the construction process.
